La soupape de sûreté type 6301 est un appareil destiné à protéger les installations contre les suppressions éventuelles. Elle fonctionne automatiquement et se referme lorsque les conditions de pression sont redevenues normales. Du type soupape à ressort, à orifices décalés et à échappement instantané, la soupape 6301 est construite en fonte classe de pression PN 16. Elle est livrée plombée en standard avec un capot fermé, un bouchon étanche et un levier d'essai. Le siège et le clapet subissent un durcissement thermique qui assure une haute résistance à l'érosion.
La soupape 6301 possède l'homolagtion CE catégorie IV, les agréments TÜV et Veritas et peut être utilisée sur la vapeur (jusqu'à 10 bar), les gaz et les liquides. Certificat de tarage et dossier constructeur selon l'arrêté du 20 novembre 2017 relatif au suivi des équipements sous pression.
